Communities Health Africa Trust | Kenya
Communities Health Africa Trust (CHAT) was formed in Kenya as a vehicle to mitigate rapid deprivation of the environment and increasing poverty as a result of expanding human population. Th is has resulted in CHAT developing innovative integrated health and population interventions targeting especially fragile and vulnerable communities and their environment.
CHAT implements integrated strategies focusing on the provision of sustainable access to family planning which encompasses a strong component of ecological sensitisation thus using a Population, Health and Environment approach that integrates family planning and health with conservation efforts to seek synergetic success for greater conservation and human welfare outcomes.
