Zambia National Community Resources Board Association

The Zambia National Community Resources Board Association (ZNCRBA) is an emerging organisation that is building stronger community rights in the management of natural resources. The Zambia National CRB Association’s vision is to build a vibrant natural resources economy in natural resources rich rural communities to benefit those communities directly.

The Association is currently working to strengthen its operations and through a grant, will conduct meetings with CRBs and communities across the country. It is also participating in the formulation of the national CBNRM policy, preparing and dissemination of CBNRM status reports and working closely with partners to develop standard operating procedures for communities. The Association aims to influence policy around the management of natural resources in Zambia’s Game Management Areas, forestry, fisheries and land tenure issues, and to improve fundraising strategies.
